25th Annual Benefit on the Bay

Enjoy a beautiful evening on Friday, August 24, at MacRay Harbor on Lake St. Clair. 100% of the event’s proceeds benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Jay Towers, from Fox 2 News and 100.3 WNIC, will again serve as the event’s Master of Ceremonies. The event will feature entertainment from Doug Simonsen and a live band from 10pm to midnight. Also, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen Choir will be performing during dinner! There will be live auction items plus the silent auction. Popular speed artist, Dave Santia, will be creating portraits as a live auction item. 

Motown Review

Get ready for a night of Classic Detroit grooves. Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship on Friday, September 14 at 6:30pm, benefiting the Solanus Casey Center. Be entertained by Cafagna Arts, presenting The Motown Story. Your ticket includes heavy hors d’oeuvres (provided by Vertical Detroit), beer and wine. 

International Day of Prayer for Peace Service

People of all faiths and cultures are invited to a prayer service to celebrate the International Day of Prayer for Peace. It will take place at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1491 Baldwin St., Detroit, Michigan on Thursday, September 20, 7pm. Security and lighted parking will be available. 

Capuchin Night Out

Fowl the night away while supporting the Capuchin Soup Kitchen! Knockdown pins, while perhaps knocking back a beverage, at the 3rd Annual Capuchin Night Out. Come support the Capuchin Soup Kitchen mission of feeding bodies, nourishing spirits and addressing the root causes of social injustice. 27th Annual Bl. Solanus Casey Souperbowl

The 27th Annual Blessed Solanus Casey Souperbowl benefit will be held on Sunday, October 14, from Noon - 7 PM. Continuous entertainment provided by Detroit's best Irish musicians and step dancers. All-you-can-eat soup, bread, and desserts...donated by Detroit area finest restaurants and bakeries. Proceeds benefit the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

45th Anniv. Celebration of the Seventh Generation Interfaith Coalition for Responsible Investment

We cordially invite you to the 45th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Seventh Generation Interfaith Coalition for Responsible Investment (SGI-CRI), formerly known as the Wisconsin, Iowa, & Minnesota Coalition for Responsible Investment (WIM/CRI) to be held on October 16, 2018. The event will be hosted by Marquette University’s Center for Supply Chain Management at the Marquette Alumni Memorial Union. We expect to welcome over 150 socially active investors, financial advisors, and business leaders. 

Hunger Free in the D

The 5th annual Hunger Free in the D is presented by the Celani Family Foundation and News/Talk 760 WJR. This fundraising initiative supports the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, which is one of three charities who are benefiting from the fundraising.

46th SOCK (Support Our Capuchin Kitchen) Dinner

The 46th annual SOCK (Support Our Capuchin Kitchen) dinner will be held at Cobo Center’s Grand Riverview Ballroom, Friday, November 30, 5:30-9 PM. Save the date! More details to come in late summer.
