Truckloads of Hope Donation Drive

(February 13 through March 3) The Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Association is hosting a Truckloads of Hope donation drive to collect shower supplies and household staples in support of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen’s Services Center. The goal of Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers' Truckloads of Hope donation drive is to fill 38 Chevy Silverado truck beds—one for each Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers location—and deliver it to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen via a Silverado caravan on Monday, March 6. 

Detroit Remembers

We will invite our Detroit neighbors to share the favors they (or their family members) received after praying to Fr. Solanus, requesting his intercession. Fr. Solanus continues to watch over our community...which he held dear. We will begin at Noon with a simple lunch and conclude by 2:30 PM.

St. Francis of Assisi Gospel Music Workshop

Nationally known clinician Thomas W. Jefferson encourages anyone who appreciates Gospel music to attend his workshop at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. He has a doctorate of music from Northwestern University and is the author of Spirituals for Piano, Volumes 1 and II. Choir members, directors, cantors, and pastors are encouraged to attend. The $10-per-person fee includes all music materials, a continental breakfast, and lunch. Reserve your spot by March 3.
