Weekly Bible Study

The Solanus Casey Center invites you to our Weekly Bible Study. It will take place every Friday from Noon to 1 PM. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Bibles. The selected passages will come from the upcoming Sunday Scripture readings.

Using the story of Francis meeting the leper, Fr. Bill will help us understand how the medieval way of writing the lives of the saints shaped stories about Francis shortly after his death. We’ll see how this dynamic shaped four different versions of the same story! Stimulate your own study of the saint for all times.

St. Martin de Porres Parish is hosting “Hope does not disappoint as we deal with life’s struggles” a revival with Fr. Chester Smith, SVD, Indianapolis. Fr. Smith is one of three missionary priests that make up the Bowman-Francis Ministry Project. The Bowman-Francis Ministry Project was founded in 1993 by the Society of Divine Word to serve the Black Catholic Diaspora.
